1. HISTORY OF ZARAGOZA___________________________________________________________________

  • Zona Plaza Santa Marta y Plaza del Pilar: Passing under the Arch of the Dean you will end up in a small square, marked by small bars of great tradition in serving tapas. From here you can access the Square San Pedro Nolasco, crossing the Street Mayor, where more modern premises are located next to the most classic of the city. In Square del Pilar and nearby you will find market and seasonal cuisine.
  • Zona de la Magdalena: In this area, especially in the Street Estudios, typical taverns that serve tables of cured, cheeses, smoked or sausages, very typical throughout Aragon. 4.1 HOLY WEEK IN ARAGÓN
  • ZARAGOZA - Declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest in 2014.. It is unique in that it represents the complete Passion of Christ in polychrome wooden sculpture - Holy Burial - accompanied by drums, bass drums, timbales, matracas, carracas, bugles, heraldic trumpets, as well as jotas de pasión, bandas y ministriles. The bass drum is used exclusively in Aragón and the carraca, matraca and heraldic trumpets in Zaragoza. The drum was introduced in Zaragoza from Bajo Aragón - Teruel - in the middle of the 20th century. The Holy Week of Zaragoza and its processions date from the s. XIV and has more than 700 years of history and 400 years the Holy Burial. 16,000 brothers participate in 53 processions with 7,000 drums and bass drums.
  • TERUEL Declared a Festival of International Tourist Interest in 2014 the Holy Week of Calanda. In the Bajo Aragón - Teruel - is the Origin of the use of the drum and the bass drum in Holy Week. It is unique the Rompida of the Calanda time on Holy Friday at noon. Its origin as we know it today is at the end of the XVIII century. Nine Villages of Bajo Aragón - Teruel - form the Drum Route:
